Job Requirements
- physically able to perform the tasks of the position

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services advantageous
- supervisory experience desirable
- ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks requiring various levels of effort
- familiarity with cleaning equipment and household supply management
Job Duties
- clean and maintain buildings and assigned areas including patient or resident quarters, administrative workspaces, classrooms, meeting rooms, and laboratories
- perform cleaning tasks requiring light, medium, and heavy physical effort
- requisition and distribute linens and household supplies
- supervise a staff of three to five lower-level cleaning personnel
- communicate effectively both orally and in writing to exchange information
- ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- maintain records of supplies and cleaning activities
