Job Description
Moraine Court Supportive Living is a well-established supportive living community dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for seniors and individuals who require supportive living arrangements. Our community focuses on maintaining high standards of care and quality of life through compassionate support and professional management. Located in a serene and easily accessible neighborhood, Moraine Court offers various living options designed to meet the unique needs of its residents. The community emphasizes independence while ensuring that residents have access to the assistance and services necessary for a comfortable lifestyle. Our facility is managed by a team of dedicated professionals, including maintenance staff, healthcare providers, and support personnel, all working together to uphold the community’s values and reputation.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and dependable full-time Housekeeper to join our Maintenance Department. This role is instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of resident apartments as well as common and public areas throughout the property. The Housekeeper works closely with the Maintenance Director and Executive Director to ensure that all cleanliness standards are consistently achieved in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position requires a compassionate and service-oriented individual who can contribute positively to the community atmosphere by fostering a respectful and welcoming environment.
The Housekeeper's responsibilities include performing daily housekeeping duties that impact the health and comfort of residents, supporting departmental cleanliness standards, and effectively communicating with residents, families, staff, and vendors. Moraine Court values teamwork and independence, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently as well. Weekend availability and flexibility are essential aspects of the role, including the need to work on holidays as required. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs is necessary to accommodate the physical demands of housekeeping tasks.
Prerequisites for this position include prior housekeeping experience, preferably within Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Supportive Living settings, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must also complete any required state training to comply with regulatory guidelines. Experience working with seniors is highly preferred given the nature of the community’s residents. Moraine Court Supportive Living is committed to inclusivity and professionalism, backing this up with thorough health requirements and background checks for all hires. This job not only offers the opportunity to be part of a caring team but also the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents every day. Position details include a Monday through Friday work schedule from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm with weekend availability required. This full-time position provides a stable work environment within a mission-driven organization that prioritizes quality and respect for all its employees and residents.
