The center not only focuses on the physical well-being of its residents but also emphasizes creating a comfortable and pleasant environment where residents can feel truly at home.
The organization is currently seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join their team as a Housekeeper. The full-time housekeeping position is scheduled on the first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with responsibilities including working every other weekend and holiday. Key duties involve washing and remaking beds after resident discharge, keeping utility and storage rooms tidy, disinfecting equipment, and managing waste disposal carefully, including biohazardous materials. Safety is paramount in this role, and the housekeeper must use personal protective equipment as required, comply with chemical handling guidelines, and actively monitor the workplace for potential hazards.
Beyond the daily cleaning tasks, the Housekeeping Aide will play an essential part in emergency response, participating in fire and disaster drills to ensure resident safety. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives in a supportive team environment. The role offers professional growth, with the chance to learn and advance within the healthcare industry.
