Job Description

The hiring establishment is a highly sophisticated executive household managing two luxury residences spanning 7,000 and 14,000 square feet respectively. These expansive, meticulously maintained properties require a highly skilled and professional housekeeper and laundress to ensure that the homes are pristine and well cared for at all times. The family maintains elevated standards for cleanliness, care of fine furnishings, and garment upkeep, demanding a candidate with exceptional attention to detail and expert knowledge in the field. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic private household setting that values discretion, proactivity, and commitment. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility for overtime and travel between the two properties as needed. The compensation is competitive, ranging from $48 to $50 per hour, depending on experience, and includes full benefits from day one, paid time off, 401(k) options, and the possibility of discretionary bonuses.

The executive principal is seeking a polished and experienced housekeeper and laundress to support the daily operations of these high-end residences. The ideal candidate is someone who combines expert laundry and garment care skills with a high-energy, adaptable personality. Beyond routine housekeeping tasks, the role demands the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and with a keen sense of urgency. Responsibilities include full-charge housekeeping and deep cleaning, expert laundry and ironing, wardrobe organization, seasonal clothing rotations, and meticulous garment care focused on fine fabrics. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining household supplies, handling grocery shopping, supporting light meal preparation, and assisting guests when necessary. Other important duties include coordinating vendors, running errands, and helping with pet care. The role requires someone highly organized, discreet, and motivated with a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.

Expertise in the care of luxury home standards such as fine furnishings, linens, antiques, and specialty surfaces is essential to maintain the exquisite condition of the residences. This position requires flexibility to travel between the two homes during the workday and a readiness to adapt to a fast-paced, demanding environment. The candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record of long-term commitment in private homes, supported by strong references. A valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. are mandatory. The employer values a dedicated individual who brings a positive attitude and quick thinking to the role, capable of independently managing household operations to the highest standards.
