Job Description

We are a busy, close-knit family of five located in Blue Ash, Cincinnati, Ohio, seeking a part-time Housekeeper and Household Support professional to join us for 16 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Our family comprises two working parents who balance professional travel commitments, three energetic children aged 8, 6, and 4, and a beloved King Charles Cavalier dog. We value routine, structure, and consistency in managing our household to support a smooth daily rhythm, and we are entering an exciting new phase of our lives with an upcoming move to a larger home.

This transition to a bigger residence necessitates additional upkeep, organization, and household management to maintain order and cleanliness. We are seeking someone who embodies responsibility, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to household tasks. The ideal candidate will take ownership in managing all housekeeping duties, ensuring our home remains a welcoming, organized, and clean environment. The role requires someone comfortable working around children and pets, respectful and understanding of the cultural aspects of a Jewish household, and adaptable to working in a busy family setting. Reliability and communication are key, especially considering the parents' frequent travels and the need to maintain consistent household operations.

The Housekeeper & Household Support role blends cleaning, laundry, home organization, and additional household assistance such as grocery shopping, light food preparation, and support during the moving process. The candidate will perform daily and weekly cleaning routines to keep our main living spaces orderly, manage laundry for both adults and children, maintain our bathrooms and kitchen cleanliness, and support our family logistics by running errands and assisting with event hosting prep when necessary.

We offer $23-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience, and require someone who can begin as soon as possible. This part-time opportunity is perfect for someone who values a steady, consistent schedule within a family-oriented environment and enjoys creating a peaceful, well-maintained home. We aim to build a trusting, long-term relationship with a reliable professional who can help maintain our household efficiently and compassionately.

This position also requires up-to-date vaccinations, willingness to work with personal transportation, and adherence to maintaining a smoke-free household. Applicants should possess excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while supporting a warm, positive household atmosphere. This role is more than just cleaning; it is about supporting a family’s lifestyle and contributing to the harmony and smooth functioning of our home, which includes managing supplies, honoring cultural sensitivities, and providing occasional assistance with gifts, mail, and pet-related needs. This is an enriching opportunity to be part of a welcoming family during an exciting time of growth and change.
