HOUSEKEEPER AMBULATORY SERVICES (PART TIME)

We are actively hiring for part-time Housekeeper positions within the Ambulatory Services department. This role is located at Crothall Healthcare's facility at 7375 Cypress Gardens Boulevard, Winter Haven, FL 33884. The schedule offers a blend of evening and weekend shifts: Monday through Friday from 8:30 pm to 1:00 am, Saturday and Sunday flexible shifts either from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm or 6:00 pm to midnight, with further details to be discussed during the interview process. The position pays a competitive fixed rate of $15.00 per hour. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

As a Housekeeper in Ambulatory Services, your primary responsibility will be to perform specialized cleaning tasks that aim to disinfect and maintain the safety and cleanliness of ambulatory healthcare spaces. These spaces include restrooms, patient areas, exam and procedure rooms, and other specialized treatment areas. You will utilize provided cleaning chemicals to disinfect surfaces rigorously, ensuring high standards of hygiene that align with healthcare regulations. This role demands attention to detail as you dust and polish furniture, vents, window sills, and ledges, clean reception glass and entrance windows, and maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning carpets and upholstery.

Additional responsibilities include handling and repositioning furniture, waste bins—including biohazardous materials—and small medical equipment with care and precision to facilitate effective cleaning and maintain proper layout arrangements. Maintaining supply levels for essential items such as soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and trash bags is also a key component of the role. The position requires adherence to safety protocols, including proper disposal of waste and managing alarm systems to arm and disarm the premises. Beyond these duties, you will contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and order of equipment and storage areas, responding to additional tasks as assigned.
