Crothall Healthcare is actively hiring for full-time Housekeeper positions within their Ambulatory Services team at their location on 7450 North Ronald Reagan Boulevard, Sanford, Florida. This full-time position offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes Monday through Friday shifts and rotating weekends, covering two time frames of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The role is designed for immediate hire and applicants are encouraged to apply online only. Experience in housekeeping is not required as training will be provided to willing candidates. This position is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of ambulatory healthcare facilities including patient areas, exam rooms, restrooms, and specialty rooms. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in disinfecting and cleaning ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The responsibilities of this Housekeeper role are comprehensive and geared towards maintaining meticulous standards of cleanliness. Key duties include disinfecting surfaces using supplied chemicals, dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning windows and reception glass, repositioning equipment and furniture to proper layouts, floor cleaning via sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning carpets and upholstery. Additionally, the role requires responsible waste management such as collecting and disposing general and biohazardous waste, along with replenishing essential supplies like soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper. Housekeepers will also maintain cleaning equipment and tools and ensure the orderly condition of storage areas. Security procedures such as arming and disarming alarm systems are part of regular duties, emphasizing the trust and responsibility placed on each team member.
