Currently, Crothall Healthcare is hiring immediately for full-time Housekeeper positions within their Ambulatory Services department at the Peace Health Ambulatory Medical Office Building located at 2901 Squalicum Parkway, Bellingham, WA 98225. This role offers a fixed pay rate of $19.50 per hour and includes shift differentials where applicable. The Housekeeper in Ambulatory Services is responsible for performing specialized cleaning duties aimed at disinfecting healthcare facilities to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is central to infection control in ambulatory healthcare settings and involves cleaning a variety of spaces such as restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas. Effective execution of cleaning duties ensures the healthcare facility complies with rigorous health and safety standards, thereby safeguarding the health of everyone who accesses the facility.

As a Housekeeper, you will engage in diverse tasks which include disinfecting surfaces using appropriate cleaning chemicals, dusting and polishing furniture and fittings, cleaning windows and reception glass, and moving necessary items such as chairs, stools, and waste bins to facilitate thorough cleaning. Additionally, the role involves floor maintenance tasks like sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning carpets and upholstery. Proper disposal of general and biohazardous waste is also a critical responsibility, as is replenishing essential supplies like soap, sanitizers, paper towels, and trash bags. Maintaining equipment and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition forms an integral part of the duties. The position also requires working with security alarm systems.
