This role focuses on maintaining the overall cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of Greystar's residential properties. The position is primarily responsible for cleaning vacant apartments, leasing offices, clubhouses, and other communal amenities. The individual in this role ensures these areas meet high standards of presentation to attract potential renters and maintain the properties' market readiness. Responsibilities also extend to supporting the make-ready process for new tenants and assisting community managers and service managers as needed. This position demands a proactive approach to detecting and reporting potential hazards to maintain resident and staff safety. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, and the ability to perform manual tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and carrying loads up to 50 pounds with assistance. Working conditions may be both indoors and outdoors across varying weather conditions. Flexibility in schedule is required, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and remain on-call as necessary. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, crawl in confined areas
  • Capability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to respond to on-call duties
  • Rare or regular travel may be required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or property management roles is desirable
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing

Job Duties

  • Clean the leasing office, clubhouse, common-area restrooms, model units, amenities and vacant apartment homes daily or as directed
  • Ensure all vacant units and show units are freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal
  • Assist in make-ready processes by performing duties assigned by service manager, community manager, or assistant manager
  • Report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors to ensure safety of residents and staff
  • Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when reordering is necessary
  • Operate golf cart on property with valid driver’s license
  • Work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and be available on call as needed
