Job Description

Greystar is a leading, fully integrated global real estate platform that specializes in property management, investment management, development, and construction services. Founded in 1993 by Bob Faith, Greystar has grown to manage and operate over $300 billion of real estate across more than 265 markets worldwide. Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, the company has established a strong global presence with offices throughout North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Greystar is recognized as the largest operator of apartments in the United States, managing over one million units and beds globally. The firm's impressive portfolio includes nearly $79 billion of assets under management, comprising over $35 billion in development assets and $36.5 billion in regulatory assets. This extensive footprint and diverse range of services highlight Greystar’s commitment to delivering world-class service and operational excellence in the rental residential real estate industry.

The role offered is for a position focused on maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of vacant apartment homes, leasing offices, and various community amenities. This role is essential to ensuring the property appeal is retained and enhanced, thereby contributing significantly to the resident experience and community standards. Responsibilities include daily cleaning of leasing offices, clubhouses, restrooms, models, amenities, and vacant homes as directed. The role also involves freshening vacant apartments and show units throughout the day to keep them market-ready and appealing to prospective residents. Additional duties include supporting make-ready processes, reporting hazards or unsafe conditions, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies. The position requires a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on site, physical endurance to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in varying weather conditions, and the ability to handle weights up to 50 pounds with assistance.

This is an hourly position with a pay range of $18.00 to $20.00, with compensation determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location. Employees in this role may be eligible for bonus programs and a range of comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as paid time off, onsite housing discounts (for onsite team members), a 401(k) plan with company match, paid parental leave, and more. Flexible working schedules including availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional travel to other properties for training or assistance, are part of the job expectations. Greystar promotes a safe, supportive work environment and offers opportunities for career growth and development within the organization.
