This specific role is based at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, particularly within Mokapu Recreational Lodging (MRL), which is part of MCCS's hospitality services. The position available is for a Regular Flex Housekeeper A03*, who will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout various types of lodging accommodations including standard hotel rooms, cottages with two and three bedrooms, studio cabanas, community restrooms, and multiple-bedroom villas that even include pet-friendly options. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to providing world-class customer service while performing a wide range of housekeeping duties. The housekeeper will be engaged in tasks such as making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sweeping, and cleaning multiple areas including bathrooms, kitchens, and common recreational spaces. The position also includes responsibilities like waxing and polishing furniture, washing upholstery, sweeping outdoor patios, and detailed quarterly deep cleaning assignments such as carpet shampooing and replacing fixtures.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can work independently, operate various cleaning equipment, manage inventory of furnishings, and report maintenance issues promptly. Familiarity with safety procedures, usage of strong cleaning solutions, operating housekeeping tablets, and effective communication with guests and management is essential. Physical stamina is required due to the nature of lifting heavy items, moving furniture, and performing physically demanding tasks frequently. The role emphasizes exemplary customer service with a friendly, courteous approach, ensuring all guests have a positive experience.

Safety compliance is paramount, and adherence to established regulations around workplace hazards and use of safety equipment is required.
