The position available is for a Part-Time Housekeeper at KentRidge Senior Living, offering a starting wage of $16.50 per hour. The shift schedule is Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for the residents. As a housekeeper, you will contribute directly to making each room feel like home by ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout the facility, from resident rooms to common areas such as the lobby and employee break rooms. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Professional in appearance and conduct
- Physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and push/pull housekeeping cart
- Good physical health verified by recent health screening
- Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis
- Must be criminally cleared
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in English communication at a minimum 8th grade level
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including the specified shift

- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide housekeeping services to maintain cleanliness in residents' rooms
- Ensure all common areas including lobby and employee break rooms are tidy and organized
- Operate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Maintain housekeeping carts and supplies in good condition
- Follow health and safety protocols during daily tasks
- Assist in laundry duties as required
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards observed during cleaning duties
