The Cambridge Senior Living, a part of Arrow Senior Living family, located in Springfield, MO, is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to join their team. This role offers a starting wage of $15.50 per hour with a shift schedule from Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. This position is crucial in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and pleasant living environment for the residents and a welcoming atmosphere in all areas of the facility, from individual rooms to common spaces including the lobby and employee break room.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade level
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Physically active and able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart
  • Good physical health verified by a physician’s health screening within six months prior or seven days following employment
  • Free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening
  • Criminal background cleared

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide housekeeping services to maintain clean and comfortable resident rooms
  • Ensure all common areas including lobby and employee break rooms are tidy and organized
  • Operate and push/pull housekeeping carts loaded with supplies and equipment
  • Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the shift
  • Communicate effectively in English with residents and team members
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
  • Contribute positively to the community environment by embracing core values and supporting residents' wellbeing
