The Housekeeper position at UnityPoint Health - Meriter plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment, which is essential in a healthcare setting where bacteriological control is paramount. The role requires the housekeeper to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties, including moving and stocking supplies, waste and recycling removal, floor care, and exchanging cubicles. The housekeeper must possess both the physical and mental ability to handle these tasks effectively. This position involves working a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, specifically Monday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The compensation for this role starts at $19.56 per hour, with eligibility for shift differentials.
