The Housekeeper 3 role includes responsibilities such as cleaning, straightening assigned areas, and ensuring various housekeeping tools and equipment are maintained in optimal condition. Additionally, the role requires the operation of hand tools and power cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. This role can involve overseeing laundry services, from scheduling to implementation, helping ensure that linens and other materials are properly cleaned and maintained for use.
Furthermore, the position may require the person to serve as a subject matter expert or resource within their assigned areas. This may include training, supporting, or directing other housekeeping staff to ensure consistent standards are met. Occasionally, this role might involve minor sewing tasks, such as making or altering specialized clothing items like restraining clothing, helmets, or surgical gowns. It also requires the ability to remedy minor repairs on upholstery and mattresses, enhancing both comfort and safety within the facility.

The Housekeeper 3 must observe and adhere to required safety precautions, particularly when disposing of contaminated refuse, ensuring compliance with health and environmental regulations.
