The company invests significantly in its employees' growth, offering mentorship, cross-training, development plans, and management training programs, with many leaders having started in frontline roles. Their promote-from-within culture highlights internal career advancement, awarding over 200 internal promotions in recent years alone. This position is for full-time and part-time housekeepers who will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hospitality Drury Hotels is known for. Housekeepers at Drury ensure that business travelers and vacationing families experience a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment where they can unwind after a long day. The role involves cleaning guest rooms thoroughly, including vacuuming, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms, all performed with attention to detail and care. The goal is to offer cleaner rooms than competitors and provide extras without additional costs, a key factor in guest satisfaction and repeat visits.
Additionally, housekeepers contribute to the overall guest experience by being attentive and service-oriented, responding to guest needs with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence. Team members are expected to work collaboratively to maintain a clean and safe environment in all hotel areas, including assisting with laundry and cleaning public spaces when necessary. New employees are welcomed with competitive starting hourly pay and have the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses up to $3,200 annually based on hotel performance successes — emphasizing the company’s belief that success is a shared journey.
Benefits at Drury Hotels include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, prescription, life, and disability insurance, along with a Team Member Assistance Program to support well-being. No prior cleaning experience is necessary for this role, as Drury Hotels values individuals' positive attitudes, dedication to customer service, and ability to work independently while following instructions. The job requires the physical ability to perform duties including walking and standing for the entire shift, pushing vacuum cleaners, reaching, stretching, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 25-35 pounds. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies and an eagerness to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for guests and coworkers complete the profile of an ideal candidate.
In summary, the housekeeper role at Drury Hotels offers not just a job but a meaningful career opportunity within a respected hospitality company that rewards hard work, fosters personal and professional growth, and promotes balance and well-being. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately to become part of a team where they can rise, shine, and work happy.
