The role available at Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center is for a dedicated Custodian who will maintain an orderly, clean, and sanitary environment that promotes the well-being of residents, staff, and visitors. This full-time position demands attention to detail and physical exertion to ensure that both the facility’s indoor and outdoor spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and safety. The custodian is responsible for a variety of essential tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping and polishing floors, cleaning walls, ceilings, windows, sinks, and plumbing fixtures, and maintaining supply closets and cleaning equipment.

Additional duties include managing trash removal twice daily, ensuring fire stairwells and elevator surfaces remain free of debris, supporting emergency sanitation efforts, moving heavy furniture, setting up conference and meeting rooms, and preparing resident beds for new admissions. This position also requires daily disinfection of every resident room to uphold hygiene standards essential for a healthcare environment. The custodial role is vital to the smooth operation of Harbor Point, guaranteeing a safe and clean atmosphere that supports the therapeutic needs of the youth served.
