The role of a Cleaning Aide in this Assisted Living Community involves a comprehensive approach to maintaining an orderly and sanitized environment. This position is responsible for cleaning all areas within the community, including floors, furniture, bathrooms, laundry facilities, baseboards, door facings, and walls, ensuring a sanitation grade of 90 or above at all times. The Cleaning Aide must use appropriate signage to safeguard residents, visitors, and employees during floor cleaning activities. Responsibilities extend to managing cleaning supplies efficiently within budgetary limits, maintaining cleanliness and odor control, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are used responsibly and securely.

This role also requires interaction with residents, staff, and families in a respectful and cooperative manner while upholding the Adult Care Home Residents' Bill of Rights. The Cleaning Aide must be familiar with and adhere to all workplace safety, emergency procedures, and confidentiality policies. Participation in continuing education related to job functions is expected to maintain and enhance professional skills.
