This opportunity is for the role of a Housekeeper within one of MCR’s hotels located in Savannah Port Wentworth, GA, Hampton. The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, contributing directly to the company’s mission to provide clean, friendly, well-organized, and safe hotels for every guest. The role requires an energetic individual who is passionate about maintaining spotless environments and delivering exemplary guest service. The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning and preparation of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, ensuring that all assigned spaces meet the hotel’s quality standards. Duties include pre-cleaning and stocking room supplies, thorough cleaning of guest rooms, as well as participating in additional cleaning projects in public spaces and storage areas as needed. The role is dynamic and requires a team-oriented mindset, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must arrive on time for every shift and clock in and out as scheduled
Must follow established guidelines and procedures
Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
Must be able to listen, understand, clarify, and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests
Must have clear communication skills
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Physical ability to perform job duties including stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
Must wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards

Job Qualifications

Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
Positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
Strong communication skills to convey information clearly
Desire to serve guests and provide excellent hospitality
Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

Greet guests happily and use their names to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
Work collaboratively with team members to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
Support and be aware of all hotel groups and events
Demonstrate proficiency with relevant technology for the role
Keep front and back of house areas clean, organized, and safe
Perform thorough cleaning and restocking of assigned guest rooms per shift
Complete all pre-cleaning duties including stocking supplies and attending meetings
Assist with cleaning public spaces, storage rooms, and guest laundry as assigned
Wear clean, approved uniform and maintain professional grooming at all times
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
Participate actively in teamwork, showing a positive can-do attitude and collaboration
Complete checklists with 100% accuracy and submit shift handover reports on time
Adhere to company guidelines for clocking in/out and breaks
Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to overall hotel cleanliness and safety
