They specialize in creating opportunities for guests to deeply connect with iconic destinations through immersive and unforgettable experiences. With a diverse portfolio that includes world-class attractions, distinctive lodges, thoughtfully crafted restaurants, retail, and transportation services, Pursuit is dedicated to highlighting the unique beauty of each location they operate in. This company’s focus is not just on providing services but on creating a holistic experience where every detail, from friendly staff to thoughtful amenities, enhances the guest journey and makes each visit personal and memorable.
Pursuit operates in multiple iconic locations, including Alaska, Montana, the Canadian Rockies, Reykjavik, and Costa Rica, making it a globally recognized brand in the attractions-led hospitality sector. They are publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol PRSU and are part of the S&P SmallCap 600 index, which underlines their financial reliability and commitment to delivering value to shareholders. Their team embraces a passion for adventure and genuinely enjoys playing host to travelers from around the world, striving to create an environment where work and recreation blend seamlessly.
The role available at Pursuit is for a Housekeeper, a critical position tasked with maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service in guest rooms and public areas. The starting wage for this role is $16.50 per hour, reflecting the company’s competitive compensation for hospitality roles. This position requires a hands-on, physical approach to daily responsibilities, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, dusting, vacuuming, and managing laundry and housekeeping carts. The role involves regular physical efforts such as lifting, bending, and other movements and may require assistance across different departments to ensure smooth operation.
Housekeepers at Pursuit also play an important customer service role by greeting guests when needed and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The company emphasizes flexibility, expecting team members to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and sometimes outdoors. Prior experience in housekeeping or commercial laundry is beneficial but not mandatory, as Pursuit fosters a supportive environment encouraging continuous learning and teamwork. They value individuals with a willingness to learn about the Alaskan region and others where the company operates, as this knowledge helps in delivering authentic guest experiences.
Working at Pursuit means being part of a diverse, inclusive, and global team that values creativity, innovation, and connection. Employees enjoy numerous perks such as free access to attractions, discounted rates on dining, retail, and hotel stays, and access to mental health and wellness resources. The company promotes an inclusive culture where diversity is celebrated, and accommodations are available for applicants requiring assistance. This role represents a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and seeking to build a fulfilling career in a dynamic, supportive work environment committed to the authentic and inspiring travel experience.
