The role of Hotel Housekeeper and Guest Room Attendant at White Lodging plays a crucial part in maintaining the company’s high standards for cleanliness and hospitality. This full-time position is centered around ensuring that every guest room and common area within the hotel exceeds expectations in cleanliness, safety, and overall guest readiness. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for providing the highest quality of housekeeping services, including cleaning and sanitizing rooms and bathrooms to premium hotel standards. Duties extend from making beds, removing linens and trash, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, restocking supplies, to efficiently managing housekeeping carts. The role also requires self-inspection of completed rooms and timely communication with supervisors regarding room status. Employees are expected to maintain a keen eye for detail and adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks of the role including lifting, standing, and moving quickly for extended periods
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Completion of housekeeping training and certification
Job Qualifications
- Prior hotel housekeeping, room attendant, or professional cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Strong guest focus and customer service skills
- Reliability, dependability, and attention to detail
- Motivation and initiative to work effectively in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Successful completion of housekeeping training with certification sign-off
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver the highest quality of hotel housekeeping service to guests
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to premium hotel standards
- Strip dirty linens and trash, make beds, dust all surfaces, vacuum carpets, and restock guest room supplies and amenities
- Clean, organize, and restock the housekeeping cart to maintain an efficient and professional room attendant workflow
- Self-inspect completed guest rooms and submit accurate room status reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor upon completion
- Practice safety standards at all times and help maintain a safe hotel environment for guests and associates
- Perform other duties as assigned
