Job Description

Drury Hotels is a reputable and award-winning hospitality company known for providing exceptional lodging experiences across the United States. The Drury Inn & Suites, located at 20300 E. 42nd Street South in Blue Springs, Missouri, is part of this respected chain offering travelers a welcoming and comfortable stay with a focus on service excellence. Drury Hotels stands out in the industry for its commitment to employee satisfaction, guest comfort, and operational excellence. The company has been recognized among Newsweek's America's Greatest Workplaces for 2025, reflecting its positive work culture and commitment to team member well-being and professional growth.

Joining Drury Hotels means becoming part of a team that values each member not only for their work but for who they are. The hospitality industry often demands high standards and dedication, and Drury Hotels meets these with a comprehensive approach to employee care and development. They offer competitive pay starting from $17.15 to $18.15 per hour, with additional quarterly bonuses potentially reaching $3,200 annually based on hotel performance. Both full-time and part-time housekeeping positions are available, providing flexibility for candidates with different scheduling needs.

As a Housekeeper at Drury Inn & Suites Blue Springs, you will be instrumental in creating memorable and positive experiences for guests, including business travelers and families on vacation. Your work ensures that after a busy day of travel or business, guests can relax in impeccably clean and well-maintained rooms. Drury Hotels emphasize cleaner rooms and added extras at no additional cost, aiming to surpass competitor standards and foster guest loyalty.

This role involves key housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, changing linens, and maintaining spotless bathrooms, all performed alongside a collaborative team of friendly and focused staff. Drury Hotels fosters a supportive and family-like work environment where life outside of work is respected and prioritized. They encourage growth through internal promotions and development opportunities, with a majority of management positions filled by team members who started in frontline roles.

The position requires no prior cleaning experience, and candidates should have at least the equivalent of two years of high school education. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and supplies is important, and you’ll be expected to work independently while delivering courteous and efficient service to guests. Physical stamina is necessary since the job involves walking, standing, lifting moderate weights, and reaching or stretching during daily tasks.

Benefits include flexible scheduling, paid time off, hotel discounts, free room nights, and comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, prescription drugs, life and disability insurance. Drury Hotels also provide a Team Member Assistance Program and a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan. Their commitment to employee well-being is reflected in their sustained recognition as a great place to work. The seasonal nature of the hospitality business means weekend work may be required, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, which are the busiest days.

At Drury Hotels, you’re more than just an employee — you’re part of a community that values service, integrity, and respect. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking stable employment in a friendly and supportive atmosphere with ample opportunities for career advancement. Start your rewarding hospitality career today with Drury Hotels and experience a workplace that truly cares about your success and happiness.
