Job Description
Asset Living is a renowned third-party property management firm committed to delivering exceptional living experiences and fostering thriving communities throughout the United States. Established in 1986, Asset Living has grown organically from a small property management company into one of the most trusted partners in the real estate industry. Their extensive portfolio covers multifamily residences, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent communities, active adult living, and student housing divisions, reflecting a diverse and dedicated approach to property management across the nation.
At Asset Living, a culture of collaboration and innovation is deeply embedded in the company ethos. They believe in empowering their employees to lead by example, promote teamwork, and continuously evolve to meet the dynamic needs of the real estate market. The company’s mantra, 'Together We Lead, Together We Succeed,' fosters an environment where every individual's input is valued and professional growth is actively encouraged. Asset Living has earned prestigious recognitions, including being named one of the nation’s Best and Brightest Places to Work and securing a top 50 ranking in NMHC professionals. Additionally, their affiliation with The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and status as an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) establishes their leadership and excellence in property management standards.
This particular opportunity is for the role of Housekeeper, a vital position within the Asset Living team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep throughout the apartment community to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for residents and visitors alike. The Housekeeper’s core duties include daily cleaning of public facilities, common areas, and grounds of the property. This role also plays an essential part in the make-ready process for vacant units, preparing them efficiently for new tenants under the guidance of the Community Manager.
The Housekeeper position requires on-site regular attendance and involves cleaning and trash removal across residential areas, community offices, amenities, and common spaces. Additionally, the Housekeeper is expected to respond promptly to resident and management requests or work orders, ensuring that the quality and appearance of the property consistently meet operational standards.
Asset Living values safety, compliance, and community standards; therefore, adherence to Asset Living's policies, Fair Housing Laws, and OSHA regulations are integral to the role. Reporting violations, managing community resources responsibly, and supporting the Community Manager’s directives are all part of the job responsibilities. Furthermore, the Housekeeper must exhibit excellent customer service skills, projecting a positive image of the community while effectively handling interactions with residents.
In addition to competitive compensation ranging from $21.50 to $22.28 per hour based on experience and qualifications, Asset Living offers a comprehensive total rewards package. This package includes health benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, and disability insurance, complemented by a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and potential commission and performance bonuses. Full-time employees also enjoy paid sick days and recognized company holidays.
Physical demands of the Housekeeper role are varied, requiring the ability to perform tasks in diverse environments, including climbing ladders and stairs, working in confined spaces, lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds, and performing repetitive motions. The role may occasionally require overtime, weekend, or night work in cases of emergencies and involves handling potentially hazardous chemicals. Successful candidates will need to be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors under different weather conditions, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Joining Asset Living means becoming part of a dynamic and fast-growing company that values diversity, fosters career development, and champions a culture of progress and mutual success. The Housekeeper role is critical in contributing to the welcoming atmosphere and operational excellence for which Asset Living is known. Candidates who bring dedication, integrity, attention to detail, and a community-oriented mindset will find this position rewarding both professionally and personally.
