The Housekeeper role at Maple Knoll Village is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and safety that contribute to resident health and comfort. Housekeepers create clean, sanitary living spaces that prevent illness and promote a warm, welcoming atmosphere. By ensuring that resident cottages, common areas, and health center rooms are spotless and orderly, Housekeepers directly enhance the quality of daily life for residents. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enthusiastic about providing excellent service, and passionate about working within a senior living setting.
This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts, making it an excellent opportunity for work-life balance. Hours run from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The hourly pay for the position ranges between $15.00 and $17.50, reflecting competitive wages in the industry. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of housekeeper experience residential or hotel
- valid driver’s license
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- passion for working with elderly individuals
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures
- physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years of experience working as a housekeeper residential hotel etc.
- team player with passion to work with the elderly
Job Duties
- Cleans resident cottages/apartments including living room kitchen bedrooms and bathrooms
- mops floors vacuums spot cleans carpeted areas and empties trash
- dusts and/or washes furniture fixtures and equipment
- washes windows and sills and other annual cleaning functions as required
- cleans public areas lounges and hallways
- cleans and sanitizes lavatories and toilet bowls inside and out
- performs written cleaning procedures and follows written cleaning schedules for common areas resident units and health center rooms
- keeps all equipment and storage areas clean and orderly
- transports and stocks linens and other equipment
- follow all written infection control procedures established by the community
