Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Availability to work part-time hours as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders at a time

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning main entryways, common areas, dining rooms, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change beds and linens, ensure adequate linen supplies in apartments, turn mattresses with assistance, and empty waste baskets
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments as needed, paying special attention to entry areas, carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens using laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests during meal service with a smile and serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Review meal menus courteously, take resident orders, serve meals and desserts
- Return carts to the kitchen and assist with storage of perishable items, deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals, reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures, vacuum carpets
- Complete side work tasks such as filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, cleaning coffeemakers
- Perform other duties as assigned as needed
