This job opening is for a part-time Housekeeping position under the Housekeeping & Laundry category at the Westin Resort, Honolulu. This role is non-management and offers an hourly pay range of $26.36 to $32.95, providing an opportunity for individuals seeking flexible employment with competitive compensation. The position is vital to maintaining the comfort and cleanliness that guests expect in a luxury resort setting. The Housekeeping team plays a crucial role in the guest experience by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are spotless, well-maintained, and welcoming.

As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include promptly responding to guests’ requests and fulfilling tasks that ensure guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for preparing your cart with necessary supplies and transporting it to designated areas efficiently. Meticulous attention to detail is required when entering guest rooms, making beds, replacing amenities, cleaning bathrooms, and removing trash and used linens. You will also check that all room appliances are present and functional, straighten room furnishings, dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furniture, vacuum carpets, and perform floor care duties in both guest rooms and common hallways.

In addition, you will adhere strictly to company and safety policies, swiftly report maintenance or safety issues, complete required safety training, and maintain a professional appearance. The position demands physical activity such as moving and lifting items, pushing loaded carts, and performing various motions like bending, stooping, and standing or walking for extended periods during shifts. You will be expected to communicate professionally with guests and associates and provide assistance sensitively to individuals with disabilities. The role requires teamwork to achieve common goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guests and department requests
  • Fill cart with supplies and transport to assigned area
  • Enter guest rooms following access procedures and ensure vacancy
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies
  • Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items
  • Make beds and fold terry
  • Clean bathrooms
