AAH is currently seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join its team. The role of a Housekeeper at Aqua Aston Hospitality is instrumental in delivering the high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort expected by vacation owners and guests. Working within a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, the Housekeeper will help maintain the pristine condition of villas, including areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, following clearly defined company standards. This position offers an hourly wage of $24.04, reflecting the value placed on the vital contributions of housekeeping staff.

In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning assigned villas, replacing guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items, and ensuring all rooms meet the criteria for guest readiness. You will collaborate with other housekeeping staff and communicate effectively with management and the front desk about room statuses and any maintenance or safety concerns. The Housekeeper role at AAH calls for a high level of physical activity, including bending, twisting, lifting, and long periods of standing or walking, making physical fitness an important aspect of job success.

Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
  • position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage
  • ability to work various shifts including holidays and weekends
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lift/carry/push/pull items weighing up to 25lbs
  • able to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, stooping, and standing or walking for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Clean the entirety of villas including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms according to standards
  • complete assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
  • replace all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards
  • report room status to the Main Linen Room, Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, or Front Desk
  • fill the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, transport it to the rooms, and return it to the designated area at the end of the shift
  • follow all company policies and procedures and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents
  • welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
