Job Description

Pyramid Healthcare Poconos, located in Moscow, PA, is a dedicated healthcare organization committed to supporting recovery and providing compassionate care to individuals in need. As part of a larger network focused on behavioral health, Pyramid Healthcare offers a supportive and mission-driven work environment where employees can make a meaningful impact every day. The organization emphasizes creating safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for clients, staff, and visitors, recognizing that a healthy environment is crucial to recovery and well-being. Employees at Pyramid Healthcare Poconos benefit from a collaborative culture that values professionalism, dependability, and teamwork.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our healthcare facility. With an hourly wage of $16.00 to $17.00, this full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a vital aspect of patient care—providing a clean and hygienic environment that supports the healing process. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, lounges, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces throughout the facility. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

As a Housekeeper at Pyramid Healthcare Poconos, you will be tasked with changing and replacing linens in client rooms following discharge, restocking bathrooms and supply areas with linens, toiletries, and other essentials, emptying trash, and disposing of waste properly. Additionally, completing assigned cleaning checklists accurately and on time is crucial to ensure compliance with the center's high standards. Adhering to infection control procedures, safety guidelines, and standard precautions is a top priority to protect both clients and staff. You will also use cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with company procedures, maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.

This role requires physical endurance as it involves standing, walking, bending, lifting (occasionally up to 50 pounds), and moving throughout the shift, sometimes in environments where there may be exposure to illnesses or behavioral health situations. Candidates should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating problem-solving capabilities, especially in urgent situations. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, and while a high school diploma or GED is preferred, CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are considered an advantage.

Joining Pyramid Healthcare Poconos means becoming part of a mission-driven organization where your contributions directly support recovery and the well-being of others. We prioritize professional development and foster a workplace culture grounded in respect, teamwork, and care. If you take pride in your work and seek to be part of a compassionate and dedicated healthcare team, apply today and help us maintain the clean, safe, and welcoming environment that is essential to the recovery journey.
