The Housekeeper role at Palace Suites is vital in ensuring that the community's environment remains clean, healthy, and conducive to the well-being of residents, visitors, and staff. This position focuses on maintaining cleanliness throughout all apartments, public areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices, pool areas, and any designated spaces within the community. The Housekeeper is instrumental in preventing hazards by keeping all areas free from litter, germs, and debris, thereby helping to promote good mental and physical health among everyone who uses the facilities. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a collaborative team.
In this position, maintaining equipment in orderly condition and ensuring that work areas meet strict hygiene standards are routine tasks. Responsibilities also include handling waste disposal properly, changing and laundering bed linens on a weekly basis, and assisting in keeping the premises inviting and safe. The Housekeeper must be flexible, reliable, and capable of working during weekends, holidays, and emergency situations. Exceptional time management and communication skills, along with a compassionate approach to interaction, are essential to succeed in this role. Job Requirements
- Must have at least 3 years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting
- A high school degree or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Spanish preferred

Job Duties
- Clean apartments, public areas and public restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices, pool area and other designated areas in and out of the building
- Keep the facility clean and free of hazards at all times
- Remove trash to designated areas
- Ensure equipment and work areas are clean and orderly at all times
- Change bed linens and place linens in the washing machine weekly
