The role of the Housekeeper is highly hands-on and central to ensuring the seamless operation and appearance of this luxury home. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and experienced in maintaining fine materials and surfaces with special care. This position requires private home experience, making familiarity with the unique demands and discretion needed in private households essential. Working closely under the guidance of a House Manager, the Housekeeper will collaborate with other team members to ensure that all cleaning and household duties are completed to the highest standards.

Beyond daily, deep, and seasonal cleaning, the Housekeeper will assist with laundry and ironing, aiming to keep all linens and clothing impeccably maintained. The role extends to supporting the household during meal times by helping set tables, assisting in meal preparation, and cleaning up as requested by the family’s chef. Additionally, the Housekeeper will occasionally run household errands, which require reliability, discretion, and a proactive approach to supporting the family’s lifestyle.

This role operates primarily Monday through Friday, with a schedule that adjusts seasonally. Off-season hours are generally from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility for earlier start times if preferred. During the in-season, hours may vary to accommodate the family’s schedule, including the essential ability to work some weekends to assist with entertaining. The role offers excellent compensation, paying between $50 and $60 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
