The role of Housekeeper at Tustin Healthcare Center is a critical part of maintaining the facility’s reputation as a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both residents and staff. This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and offers a competitive hourly wage between $18 and $20. The primary responsibility is executing routine cleaning and housekeeping duties that align with federal, state, and local guidelines as well as the specific policies of Tustin Healthcare Center. The Housekeeper will work closely with other departments, particularly nursing services, to coordinate daily cleaning activities in both resident living spaces and shared recreational areas.

Beyond routine sanitation tasks, the position involves ensuring all cleaning practices are safely performed, using appropriate safety equipment such as back braces and mechanical lifts when lifting heavy objects, and adhering to manufacturer instructions for chemical use and disinfecting solutions. Housekeepers play a vital role in preserving a hygienic, orderly, and hazard-free environment, which directly impacts the comfort, safety, and health of residents.
