The Housekeeper role at The Cove on Ormond Beach is a vital position focused on ensuring guests enjoy a spotless and welcoming environment during their stay. This job requires attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude, as housekeepers are responsible for performing daily cleaning duties in assigned rooms to meet the resort's high standards. In this role, housekeepers communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and guests to maintain a smooth operational flow and guest satisfaction. They prepare rooms according to strict cleanliness standards, report any damage or disturbances promptly to supervisors, and professionally handle reasonable guest complaints and requests. Housekeepers also ensure the proper maintenance and inventory management of all housekeeping equipment and supplies, which is essential to the day-to-day functioning of the resort.

The position requires adaptability, as schedules may vary and include weekend and holiday shifts ranging from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Paid training is provided upon hire to equip new employees with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.   • Friendly and effective communication with dispatch, team members, and guests to ensure the happiness of our guests and owners
  • prepare all rooms for guests according to standards
  • notify superiors of any damage, deficits, and disturbances
  • deal with reasonable complaints and requests with professionalism and patience
  • ensure appropriate maintenance of all housekeeping equipment and tools
