Job Duties
- Clean all assigned guest rooms and common areas to the high standards specified by the Head Housekeeper or manager
- Always speak to guests with courtesy and a friendly smile
- Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure everything is in perfect working order for our guests and report deficiencies to the manager
- Mark each cleaned room on your housekeeping sheet and notify the front desk immediately when a room is ready
- Complete missing linen reports for every room and promptly turn in all lost and found items
- Maintain neat, locked storage closets and ensure your housekeeping cart is restocked, trash is emptied, and vacuums are cleared at the end of every shift
- Arrive on time, in the appropriate uniform with your name tag, and obtain your work schedule promptly
- Act as a vital part of the hotel security team by remaining alert for potential hazards and promptly reporting them to the manager
- Maintain strict control of room keys at all times, keeping them securely in your smock and never leaving them on a cart
- Keep all business information strictly confidential, both while on duty and off duty
- Report all maintenance problems directly to the manager to ensure guest comfort
