Job Description
Case is a reputable property management company that specializes in providing exceptional residential living experiences. Operating in Texas, specifically in Amarillo, Case manages a diverse portfolio of apartment communities, offering comfortable and well-maintained living spaces to residents. Known for its commitment to quality, customer service, and community engagement, Case strives to create environments where residents feel at home and can enjoy a high standard of living. The company values professionalism, innovation, and growth, providing ample opportunities for employees to advance their careers in the property management industry.
The role available at Case is a full-time position based in Amarillo, Texas, focused on maintaining cleanliness and readiness of apartment units and community areas. This position is crucial for ensuring that vacant apartments are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for new residents, as well as maintaining the daily cleanliness of models, offices, clubhouses, laundry rooms, and fitness centers within the communities managed by Case.
The apartment cleaner will be responsible for inspecting apartment units and other areas weekly, communicating supply needs to the Property Manager, and performing comprehensive cleaning tasks. These tasks include cleaning fixtures, counters, cabinets, windows, appliances, bathrooms, floors, and other surfaces. Attention to detail is critical, especially in ensuring areas such as underneath refrigerators and ovens are cleaned. The position also entails preparing completion reports and conducting touch-up cleans when necessary.
In addition to apartment units, the cleaner plays a vital role in keeping communal spaces pristine. Daily duties involve cleaning the office area by emptying trash, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning windows and baseboards. The cleanliness of clubhouse refrigerators, cabinets, janitor closets, and floors also falls under this role’s responsibilities. Ensuring that vents, windows, and doors are clean is important, as well as maintaining hospitality standards like making and stocking coffee for the day. The individual must be adaptable to additional tasks assigned by the Property Manager to support the overall operation of the properties.
Some properties under Case management may include Corporate Suites, which require extra cleaning duties such as changing linens, replenishing soaps, and dish cleaning. This position demands strong communication skills to interface effectively with residents, coworkers, vendors, and the Property Manager. The role requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions and maintain professional conduct in all interactions.
Physical capability is essential as the job involves standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, and lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) with assistance. The employee must be able to move appliances safely using a dolly and work as part of a team when handling heavy items. Visual acuity, including color and peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus, is necessary to perform cleaning duties effectively.
Case offers competitive pay starting at $15 per hour, dependent on experience, along with comprehensive benefits for full-time employees. These include health insurance, rent discounts, paid holidays and vacation time, sick leave, short and long-term disability, life insurance, a 401K plan, and performance-based bonuses. This position is ideal for individuals who are innovative, customer-service oriented, and motivated to grow professionally within the property management field.
