The Housekeeper role at Yugo is a vital position focused on maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appeal of residential properties. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards in all entrusted areas. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring that common areas such as offices, clubhouses, kitchens, laundry rooms, elevators, and hallways remain spotless and inviting. Additionally, you will prepare vacant units thoroughly for new residents by cleaning appliances, floors, fixtures, cabinets, and windows, thereby setting the stage for a positive living experience.

Aside from cleaning duties, the role involves walking the property daily to inspect for cleanliness, safety hazards, and curb appeal maintenance. You will also be tasked with cleaning and tidying occupied units when necessary to maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Supporting the community’s cleanliness, you will assist with trash pick-up and maintaining orderly common spaces. Inventory management is also part of the job, requiring you to keep track of cleaning supplies and coordinate with the General Manager or Maintenance Supervisor for replenishments.

In addition to hands-on cleaning, the position calls for building positive relationships with residents through friendly greetings and maintaining a professional and helpful presence within the community. Communication is key; therefore, reporting any unusual conditions or maintenance issues promptly is essential to ensure the property remains in top condition. You will also assist with organizing and cleaning corporate units, turnovers, and make-ready units.

Safety is another priority for this role, as Housekeepers are expected to follow company procedures regarding safety and emergencies and participate in related training and meetings. With competitive pay ranging from $20 to $22 per hour, the position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hourly employment, conducted on-site at Stateside Bellingham.

Job Duties
