The Environmental Services team member is responsible for ensuring all hospital spaces, including patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas, are cleaned thoroughly following standardized procedures that support infection control. Responsibilities include employing recognized cleaning methods such as the 7 steps of cleaning, performing specialized floor and upholstery care, and conducting terminal cleaning especially in sensitive areas like operating rooms. The role demands a keen attention to detail, adherence to strict protocols, and physical agility to meet the demands of the healthcare environment. Successful candidates will undergo a job-specific agility test to verify their ability to perform required duties.

This position is well-suited for individuals with a high school diploma or GED, and ideally at least six months of relevant experience, with one year preferred.
