We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated housekeeper to join our growing team at Canterbury Woods. This full-time position, based in Williamsville, NY, requires a reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. The housekeeper will work a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, primarily from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and rotating holiday availability required. This role is vital in upholding the cleanliness standards that contribute to the health and comfort of our community.
The successful candidate will be expected to diligently clean and tidy all assigned areas according to established standards and within designated time limits. They will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, responding to resident requests and needs with professionalism and care. Additionally, the housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order and promptly reporting any damages, shortages, or security concerns to the appropriate departments. Compliance with Department of Health regulations is a critical element of this role, ensuring that the environment remains safe and hygienic for all residents and staff.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven working experience as a housekeeper or in a relevant cleaning role
- ability to work independently and follow instructions
- availability to work 37.5 hours per week including every other weekend and rotating holidays
- good communication skills
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- adherence to Department of Health regulations
