We are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeper for one of our apartment communities in College Station. The Housekeeper position reports directly to the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor and plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appeal of community clubhouses, amenities, and vacant units within the property. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the sparkle and cleanliness of the entire community environment. Your primary focus will be on dusting, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning furniture and fixtures, maintaining restrooms, and ensuring that all common areas are sanitary and welcoming. Additionally, you will assist in preparing vacant units for new residents by performing detailed cleaning tasks that enhance the leasing appeal. Job Duties
- Dusts, mops, and vacuums floors utilizing safe work practices
- dusts/washes furniture, sinks, toilets, shower, lighting fixtures, blinds, windowsills, windows, etc
- cleans assigned areas of the facility utilizing sanitizing agents and disinfectants
- ensures soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet paper racks are kept full
- empties trash cans throughout the community, properly relines containers, and disposes of waste in outdoor dumpster
- possesses knowledge of and follows procedures for diluting, handling and storing hazardous chemicals
- follows cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor, including offices, public areas and vacant units as assigned
- cleans all hallways, stairways, windows, and elevators as necessary
- submits maintenance work orders of general maintenance concerns and/or problems to Maintenance team
- cleans and check model rooms daily to ensure ready for show
- cleans the employee break room when necessary
- cleans vacant turn units as needed
- assists in monitoring that coffee and other courtesy condiments are stocked for residents and guests
- completes other tasks as directed and assigned
