Job Description
Case is a reputable property management company specializing in providing exceptional apartment living experiences across various communities. Dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort, Case emphasizes fostering welcoming environments for current and prospective residents. With a strong commitment to growth and innovation, the company values professionals who contribute to the overall success through diligent responsibility and an enthusiastic approach to their roles. Case’s properties include a range of apartment units, models, clubhouses, fitness centers, laundry rooms, offices, and sometimes corporate suites, designed to cater to diverse resident needs. The company takes pride in creating vibrant communities enhanced by well-maintained facilities, which serve as a foundation for resident satisfaction and retention. Joining Case means becoming part of a dynamic team focused on growth, excellence, and providing quality residential experiences.
The role of a Apartment Cleaner at Case is integral to preserving this high standard of living within the communities the company manages. This full-time position, based in Wichita, Kansas, offers a competitive starting pay of $15+ per hour depending on experience. The Apartment Cleaner is responsible for the thorough cleaning and preparation of vacant apartment units to ensure they are move-in ready for new residents. In addition to vacant units, this role involves performing daily cleaning duties in various communal areas such as models, offices, clubhouses, laundry rooms, and fitness centers. A critical aspect of this position includes assessing cleaning needs weekly and communicating supply requirements to the Property Manager, as well as completing thorough cleaning tasks like fixtures, counters, cabinets, windows, ovens, bathrooms, blinds, floors, and appliances, extending to areas beneath refrigerators and ovens.
Moreover, the Apartment Cleaner must maintain cleanliness in the office area by handling trash disposal, vacuuming, window cleaning, dusting desks, computer equipment, and picture frames, and ensuring the clubhouse refrigerator, cabinets, and janitor closets are tidy and well organized. The role also includes mopping floors as necessary, cleaning windows and doors, maintaining vents, and making sure coffee supplies are stocked and ready each day. An important operational task involves completing a checklist after each apartment cleaning to inform the Property Manager of job completion and any additional cleaning or touch-ups required. Responsibilities may extend to corporate suites where additional cleaning and maintenance tasks like dishwashing, linen, and soap replacement are necessary.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months experience related to apartments or residential cleaning, strong communication skills in English for both oral and written instructions, and the capability to interact professionally with residents, coworkers, and vendors. Physically, this position requires standing, walking, climbing stairs, and using hands for manual tasks. Candidates must be able to move large appliances with assistance and occasionally lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities such as close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment are necessary to perform the job safely and effectively.
Case offers a variety of valuable perks beyond competitive pay, including health insurance, rent discounts, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, short and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, 401K retirement plans, property performance bonuses, and safety bonuses. The company fosters a positive work environment aimed at employee growth and career advancement within the property management industry. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional service and maintaining excellent standards for residential communities.
