With over 35 years of experience, Friedman manages more than 200 commercial properties, encompassing over 18 million square feet, as well as more than 15,000 apartment homes throughout the United States. The company is highly respected in the industry, with its brokerage team currently holding over 600 listings and having successfully closed transactions valued at more than $22.5 billion. Recognized as one of Detroit Free Press's Top Workplaces, Friedman Real Estate is committed to providing an inclusive, rewarding, and supportive work environment for all employees.
As a Housekeeper for our apartment community, you will be joining a growing team of dedicated and hardworking professionals. This role is perfect for individuals who are self-motivated, enjoy working in fast-paced environments, and have dynamic capabilities. Your efforts will ensure that resident units, common areas, and restrooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. The position includes duties such as cleaning tasks throughout resident units, including wiping counters, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms, as well as laundering services like washing, drying, folding, and returning laundry. You will also perform light maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, taking out trash, and maintaining proper inventory levels of cleaning products.
The Housekeeper role at Friedman Real Estate is more than just cleaning duties; it is a vital position that contributes to the health, safety, and comfort of our apartment community residents. We value employees who bring a positive attitude and the ability to interact comfortably with residents and team members. You must be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 45 pounds. Our company fosters inclusivity, equality, and diversity, ensuring that all applicants are considered fairly without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other protected status.
Joining Friedman Real Estate means becoming part of a respected leader in property management and development with a culture of ongoing professional development, recognition, and comprehensive benefits. We offer an attractive package including Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance, dental and vision coverage, pet insurance, company-paid life insurance with buy-up options, a 401(k) match, and long-term disability insurance after two years of service. Additional perks include continuing education reimbursement, referral bonuses, structured paid time off plans, paid parental leave, leadership training seminars, and company swag. This role provides an opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, contributing to the residents' experience while advancing your career within a market-leading company.
