The role of Housekeeper at Integral Senior Living is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and overall hygiene of the community. This position requires a detail-oriented, reliable, and dedicated individual capable of performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties across apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices. The Housekeeper ensures that floors are swept, dusted, mopped, and vacuumed properly, and that bathroom fixtures, shower tiles, woodwork, windows, and furniture are all cleaned, polished, and sanitized according to schedule. Additionally, this role involves managing the community laundry, keeping the laundry area clean and orderly, handling trash and refuse in designated areas, and safely storing all cleaning chemicals and equipment according to fire code regulations. The Housekeeper also actively communicates with team leads to report any needed repairs or supply shortages, contributing to a well-maintained, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Physical requirements include ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, and lift weights up to 50 pounds occasionally, demonstrating fitness for the demands of the job. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, and a familiarity or interest in working with senior populations is important. Effective communication skills and a courteous attitude toward both residents and staff are essential, as is the ability to understand and follow instructions and safety protocols.
