Job Description
AEG Management Bakersfield is a prominent entertainment facility management company responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of the Dignity Health Arena, Theater, and Convention Center. This expansive entertainment complex features a ten-thousand-seat arena and a three-thousand-seat theater, serving as a hub for sporting events, concerts, theater productions, conventions, and various community gatherings. Renowned for delivering exceptional event experiences, AEG Management Bakersfield is committed to maintaining the venue's high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality to ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable visit. As an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer, AEG actively welcomes applications from women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans, embodying its dedication to diversity and inclusion within the workforce.
The Clean-Up Crew positions at the Dignity Health Arena, Theater, and Convention Center are vital to the daily operational success of this large-scale event space. The role primarily involves maintaining cleanliness before, during, and after events, ensuring that all areas including seats, aisles, restrooms, suites, parking lots, dressing rooms, and windows meet rigorous cleanliness standards. Responsibilities extend across both indoor and outdoor spaces, requiring attention to detail in tasks such as taking out trash, scrubbing and mopping floors, and performing various general cleaning duties. This role demands individuals who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, showcasing flexibility by working during evenings, weekends, holidays, and other irregular hours aligned with event schedules.
Personnel in these positions must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and must adapt to working in varying weather conditions including the seasonal heat characteristic of Bakersfield. Training is provided, making these roles accessible to candidates with limited prior experience, although previous maintenance experience is preferred. The Clean-Up Crew contributes directly to the overall guest experience by maintaining a pristine environment, facilitating smooth event transitions, and supporting the operational flow of the venue. Company policies endorse the ability to modify job descriptions to ensure alignment with business needs and emphasize accommodating employees with disabilities to successfully perform essential job functions. Joining AEG Management Bakersfield means becoming part of a professional team committed to excellence and customer satisfaction within one of the region’s most important entertainment venues.
