Job Requirements
- Physical ability to perform duties including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
- Ability to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Job Qualifications
- Past cleaning experience preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers
- Maintain all assigned ancillary and department areas and corridors in a clean, neat and sanitary manner, to protect safety and health of others and in compliance with preventive maintenance procedures
- Inspect and use judgment in determining appropriate cleaning techniques as outlined in orientation guidelines
- Demonstrate efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning solutions
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment
- Employ universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials
- Keep the housekeeping cart properly stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies, ensure all chemicals are accurately labeled and equipment is well maintained
- Promote effective interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships, maintain professional conduct at all times
- Assist in improving productivity and efficient operations of the department
- Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and competence by adhering to training commitments
