This role requires routine cleaning activities within resident apartments, restrooms, and communal areas to ensure that every corner of the community upholds the highest standard of hygiene and comfort. The position is critical in helping the community achieve its goal of a pristine living space, which directly supports the residents’ physical and emotional health. This role includes responsibilities such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, trash disposal, glass and mirror cleaning, and maintaining cleaning equipment.
The role calls for adherence to chemical safety protocols and infection control measures, which are paramount in a senior living setting. Additionally, the employee must be aware of and respectful toward the privacy, dignity, and personal belongings of residents at all times, ensuring a safe and respectful living environment. The job also involves reporting any unusual behavior observed among residents, coordinating with supervisors regarding supplies or equipment repairs, and assisting with specialized cleaning tasks such as apartment turnovers. Prompt responsiveness to requests from residents and staff is crucial, as is the proper reporting of any work-related injuries to ensure workplace safety.

Job Requirements
- Must be age 18 or older
- Lifting arms above head to reach and clean shelves, ledges, and windows
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Clean resident apartments, restrooms, and community common areas following established schedule
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors
- Empty trash containers on a regularly scheduled basis and as needed
- Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain equipment and storage areas in a clean and organized manner
- Follow chemical safety protocol and infection control procedures
- Ensure a safe living environment for residents while respecting their privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times
