The role of Housekeeper at Century Park Associates is a full-time position providing essential support to maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming living environment for the residents. This position operates primarily during day shifts and includes flexible hours during the week with some occasional weekend shifts, ensuring a good work-life balance. The Housekeeper works under the supervision of the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor and is tasked with delivering comprehensive housekeeping services across various areas. These include occupied and vacant units, patios, decks, common areas, offices, lobbies, elevators, lounges, public restrooms, laundry rooms, and dining areas. The role demands a hands-on approach to tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing, alongside the maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment. Attention to detail is paramount, with housekeepers needing to ensure that all environments meet hygiene and safety standards while creating a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for the seniors.

An important part of this position is recognizing and reporting any maintenance issues such as the need for bulb replacement, repairs, and any resident concerns to the supervisor, fostering a proactive and responsive service culture. This role also requires excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, as housekeepers must navigate interactions with seniors, some of whom may present challenging behaviors.
