The Housekeeper role at Doctors Hospital of Manteca is a per diem position with a rotating shift schedule, focused on maintaining cleanliness and a hygienic environment throughout the hospital. The Housekeeper is responsible for the general cleanliness of critical areas, including procedure rooms, patient care areas, restrooms, offices, and other areas requiring environmental services support. This position plays an essential role in infection control and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

Duties vary by assignment area but typically include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, and surface cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, sinks, mirrors, showers, commodes, windows, waiting areas, and public hallways. The position also includes linen and trash removal and terminal cleaning of isolation or exam rooms as required. The Housekeeper may be required to move furniture and heavy equipment under direction, assisting in maintaining a functional and orderly facility.

This role supports the hospital's commitment to quality care and patient safety by ensuring that infection control protocols and cleanliness standards are met consistently. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of six months housekeeping experience preferred

Job Duties
