This employment opportunity offers an hourly pay range of $12.52 to $17.25, providing competitive wages for individuals who wish to contribute to the well-being of senior adults. The role is part of Lifespace’s Environmental Services team, which plays an integral role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the living environment for residents.
The position involves cleaning assigned resident homes and common community areas, ensuring that all spaces meet high standards of hygiene and comfort. Responsibilities include disinfecting washrooms, cleaning floors, dusting, and caring for residents’ belongings with respect and diligence. Additionally, the role requires preparing rooms quickly and efficiently for new occupants when residents are transferred, move out, or are discharged, ensuring the community maintains its welcoming atmosphere.
Attention to detail is paramount in this role, with an emphasis on maintaining an organized and well-stocked work cart, proper labeling and storage of cleaning chemicals, and locking the work cart when unattended or in common areas. There is also a critical focus on following infection control and isolation guidelines, especially when cleaning isolation rooms, to protect the health and safety of all residents and staff. Communication with supervisors about supply and equipment needs is essential for maintaining operational efficiency.

Job Duties
- Clean assigned resident homes and common community areas including washrooms, floors, and dusting
- Deliver care and organization of residents' belongings for cleaning and storage
- Prepare rooms quickly and properly for new occupants after resident transfer, move out, or discharge
