The Housekeeper role at Asset Living is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the apartment community. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16 to $18, reflecting the candidate’s experience and skill set. The Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning duties across the property’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds to ensure a pristine environment for residents and visitors. Under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Housekeeper also handles make-ready cleaning in vacant units to prepare them efficiently for new tenants, aligning with property operational objectives.
Key duties of the Housekeeper include community housekeeping, trash removal, and upkeep of residential and community areas such as offices and amenities. The role demands regular on-site attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to respond promptly to resident and management requests. The Housekeeper ensures compliance with Asset Living’s policies and contributes to a positive image of the community by managing excellent customer service and enforcing community regulations as assigned.
To excel in this role, candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a bachelor's degree or at least one year of relevant housing industry experience. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements are essential. Physical demands include the ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds, operate machinery, work in various environmental conditions, and perform tasks involving repetitive motions and diverse physical positions.
