Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license
- Five years driving experience with no more than one minor accident or violation in the past three years
- Ability to obtain forklift certification within one year
- Completion of Hepatitis B vaccination within six months
- Ability to work full time
- Pass a criminal background check
- Provide three professional references

- Ability to obtain forklift certification within one year

- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call shifts
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Remove trash from facilities
- Perform operations involved with recycling program
- Clean and condition classrooms, labs, offices, and common spaces
- Clean restrooms
- Conduct setup and removal of arrangements for College functions and events
- Move and relocate office, laboratory, and classroom furnishings and supplies
- Perform general litter control with established building limits
- Assist with snow and ice removal during inclement weather
- Perform duties in an on-call rotation to support campus operations outside of regular business hours
- Perform duties before, during, and after normal operating hours and during campus closures as an essential employee, including but not limited to support for special events and inclement weather preparation and cleanup
- Perform other duties as assigned
