The Housekeeper position at Asset Living entails a critical role responsible for maintaining cleanliness and the aesthetic appeal of apartment communities. This full-time role requires daily attendance onsite to ensure all public facilities, common areas, grounds, and make-ready units are cleaned and prepared in alignment with the property's operational goals. Working under the supervision of the Community Manager, the Housekeeper’s duties involve general cleaning, trash removal, and upkeep of residential areas and shared amenities. The position also requires timely responsiveness to resident requests and maintenance work orders, supporting a positive community living experience.

This position offers a compensation range of $17 to $19 per hour, reflecting factors such as skill, experience, and certifications. Asset Living's total rewards package enhances this base pay with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer matching. Performance and commission bonuses are available when applicable. Full-time employees also enjoy paid sick days and company holidays.

Physically, the role demands the ability to perform tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 lbs, navigating ladders and tight spaces, and operating machinery and motorized vehicles when necessary. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or night hours during emergencies is required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA standards and possess basic computer skills to operate onsite software efficiently. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Community housekeeping
  • regular/daily onsite attendance is required
  • responsible for general cleaning and trash removal of grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
  • responsible for cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-in
  • responsible for cleaning and upkeep daily of community’s offices, amenities, etc.
  • respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
  • responsible for understanding and following Asset key policy
  • report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
  • utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically
  • perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager
  • manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness
  • project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
  • ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
  • enforce policies of the community that the immediate supervisor delegates
